Soho's hidden gem
The drink menu is spit between normal (The fairly standard stuff such as Martini) and specials (Creative, forward thinking cocktails). I visited for a pre dinner treat and able to sample some of its new cocktail creations. Al Minzer is an ideal opener, served in a hip flask using Jamaican rum with bitters, fruit juice and sherry. The fresh, bitter sweet, off dry note really opened up your palate to make you wanting more. The Devil Goats was by far the best cocktail on the menu, the sweet and smoky sensation was just simply outstanding, it was almost like a hybrid of a whisky sour and an old fashioned, it was one of those cocktails that I would never get tired of.
In some way, this venue reminds me of Nightjar with its vintage design and creative cocktails. What I really enjoyed about this bar is that it can suits for a number of different occasion: This would be an ideal place for an early evening treat or catching up with friends, thanks to the affordable but quality cocktails and relaxing ambience. Toward early morning, this place would turn into a secret vintage underground party, with DJs playing out some uplifting music from the 70s era, definitely the kind of venue you would need to pay a visit if you are a fan of good old fashioned retro vibe.
